  This review is for the Davison bakery only. I visited the Davison bakery this morning to inquire about a free first birthday cake for my son who will be turning one. I couldn't be paid to take a cake from this bakery after my awful experience. I stood there for five minutes watching the bakers work and listened to their conversation without them noticing me standing there. I didn't want to walk in to the bakery to get their attention, as I worked in a bakery years ago and the act was always unappreciated. I looked for a bell and could not find one so I called the store from my cell phone and kindly asked them to let the bakery know they had a customer waiting. The person on the phone was very rude but fulfilled my request. The worker in the bakery came up front with a nasty look on her face and pointed to a bell I did not see and rudely said that there was a bell right over there. Ok, well I apologize for not finding the bell amongst everything else on the counter, however, this is no reason to treat a possible future paying customer so rudely! I proceeded to ask about the free first birthday cake and she simply said yes. So I then had to prod for further details such as what the free cake included, how many people it would feed, etc. and she snottily offered a simple description without much detail or offering to show me additional options I knew existed since I checked out the website prior to my visit that I may have been willing to purchase over the free cake had the experience been a positive one. Instead, I decided I will gladly pay someone else over $50 to make me a cake and I will never return to this bakery. I drove to this store from what normally would have been a 15-20 minute drive but the roads were covered in a sheet of ice this morning so it took much longer. The least the associates could have done was be nice and have smiles on their faces.
